Exclusive acoustic session from Northampton's finest cellist Mrs. Pilgrimm, who played 4 of her own original tunes.
Describing themselves as "Willam Shakespere banging away on a typewriter (with his head) trying to come up with a infinite number of monkeys", they've created a monster of a mix for the show which was as hat-stand as you'd expect.
A live mix of German rock & electronica which had treats from Kraftwerk, Can and the mighty Amon Düül and more.
A stonking way to start September with a fruity mix of Roots & Dub from Fat Cat Recording artists Stromba.

Starting a month of mixes, all by men, hmm funny that...I broadcast my Robert Wyatt & Soft Machine mix which was originally broadcast 3 years ago but this time alongside tracks from his excellent new album 'Comicopera'. A great primer for Robert's eclectic back catalogue.
It's been a couple of years since his LP 'Before The Dawn Heals Us' and this mix, originally broadcast the same time is a good reminder of Anthony Gonzalez's skillful talents.
Bristol based producer & composer Mole Harness created this delightful & exclusive mix for the show back in 2003 so this was a rare opportunity to catch it again.
I played out this beautiful ambient mix by one of my favourite Japanese artists. His new album 'Love Or Die' is one of his best for a few years so I mixed a lush selection of old and new tracks.
